The restaurant shines with its main attractions — especially the fried chicken bites and an array of steamed dumplings. The fried chicken is notably Korean-inspired, served juicy and crispy, with flavorful options like garlic soy, cheese powder, and spicy that have captured the hearts of many regulars. Alongside, the dumplings — with varieties including beef & chive, pork & chive, and prawn & chive — are generously sized and richly filled, living up to traditional flavours while maintaining a satisfying heft.

Baby Bao’s menu extends beyond dumplings and fried chicken. Fans also praise their spring onion pancakes and onion rings, which bring an extra crunch and balance to the meal. The inclusion of vegan-friendly items such as spring onion pancakes and cheese sticks shows a mindful approach towards diverse dietary preferences.

The space offers a relaxed setting and though seating is limited and mostly outdoors, the staff are consistently described as friendly and attentive, contributing positively to the overall atmosphere. Chicken and beef from halal certified butchers. Food was great. We were a party of three and we ordered a variety to taste. Loved the fried chicken bites as well as the prawn dumplings the most. I preferred their signature dipping sauce over the other sauce. Dumplings were really big and quite filling! So we had to take away the rest. Took a bit of time for it to come out (25mins). Staff were friendly and nice. I didn’t get to try the large white buns because I got full too quickly so I’ll have to visit again!

Bought take away because I wanted to try a few dishes. Had the pork and cabbage dumplings, fried chicken bao, chicken wings and green onion pancake. All was delicious and servings were pretty good for the price you pay. Will certainly come back again.

I come here after school with my friends. Juicy and piping hot fried Chicken. I really enjoy the garlic soy on top of the chicken. Dumplings were similar to my hometown’s one. The staff were very attentive to any needs. Would definitely recommend!

Food: • Fried Chicken was our favourite 5/5 • Dumplings were average 3/5 • Onion rings were amazing too 5/5 • Chicken Bun wasn’t great 2/5 Service: • We got takeaway as the seats are outside and it was very windy. We waited over 40 minutes for our food. In conclusion, we would definitely go again for the fried chicken. It was honestly AMAZING. We recommend ordering over the phone and picking it up instead of ordering there/ eating in.

Bought a steamed vegetarian bun and the fried chicken dish. They were nice to go half original and half with sauce. We waited about 15 minutes for the steamed bun then on the way home, I realised it wasn’t the vegetarian bun. There are two in the box but both have cabbage and meat. The bun was not house made, just the frozen cheap stuff that you can buy from any Asian supermarket. The store does not have a contact number so have to leave the feedback here.
